# Tags

> Organize prompts and reports with shared tags for topics, markets, campaigns, and funnel stages

Tags help you turn a large prompt library into something you can actually work with.

Instead of treating every prompt as one flat list, tags let you group prompts in ways that match how you think and report.

Use tags to organize by:

* topic
* campaign
* funnel stage
* market
* audience

## What this page is for

The Tags page is where you manage the tag system itself.

Use it to:

* search tags
* create new tags
* edit existing tags
* remove tags you no longer need

Deleting a tag removes it from prompts, but it does not delete the prompts themselves.

## Why tags matter

Good tagging makes the rest of Beeze easier to use.

It helps you:

* filter visibility reports quickly
* compare campaigns or markets without rebuilding prompt sets
* keep prompt management cleaner as coverage grows
* make stakeholder reporting more focused

## Create and edit

Each tag can include:

* a name
* an optional description

Descriptions are helpful when a short name could be interpreted in more than one way.

## Common tagging strategies

| By funnel stage | `awareness`, `consideration`, `decision`    |
| By campaign     | `launch`, `refresh`, `seasonal`             |
| By market       | `us`, `uk`, `dach`                          |

## Good practices

  * Reuse existing tags where possible instead of creating near-duplicates - Keep names short and
    clear - Use descriptions to clarify meaning when needed - Review the tag list regularly so filters
    stay useful instead of messy
