What prompts are
A prompt is the question or instruction sent to an AI model during each tracking run. The quality and coverage of your prompt set directly determines how useful the Intelligence data is. Good prompts mimic what a real user in your target market would type into ChatGPT or Perplexity. Poor prompts (too generic, too narrow, or too biased toward your brand) produce data that doesn’t reflect real-world AI behavior.Adding a prompt
- Open Intelligence → AI Overviews → Prompts
- Select Add prompt
- Write the prompt text — aim for a natural question, not a keyword
- Assign a product (required) and one or more tags (optional)
- Select which AI models should run this prompt
- Save
